Lilydale Outdoor Pool operates Seasonal December – March to allow members and guests to enjoy our recreational facilities.
Weather-Triggered Opening Hours:
Please note that Lilydale Outdoor Pool operates on weather-triggered opening hours.
The pool will open only on days when the Coldstream temperature is forecast to reach 25°C or higher, based on the 5pm weather forecast from the previous day. This ensures we can roster staff appropriately, maintain safety standards and operate consistently.

Hot Weather Policy – Extended pool hours on hot days this summer:
If the Coldstream weather forecast at 5 pm on the day is 30 degrees Celsius or above and there is a minimum of 10 people at the Centre, the Centre will stay open for 1 hour past the normal scheduled closing time.
If the Coldstream weather forecast at 7 pm on the same day is 30 degrees Celsius or above and there is a minimum of 10 people at the Centre, the Centre will stay open for 1 further hour until 8 pm.
2025 Summer Season
13 Dec 2025 – 1 Feb 2026: open daily, times vary with temperature.
- Days of 25 – 29*C: 1pm – 6pm
- Days of 30*C + : 10am – 6pm
2 Feb – 28 March 2026: open dependent on temperature.
- Weekdays of 25 – 29*C: 3pm – 6pm
- Weekends of 25 – 29*C: 1pm – 6pm
- Days of: 30*C+: 10am – 6pm
Public holiday hours may vary. Closed Christmas Day
